Guide

Normal Attack Paint
Since Hank can freely change the direction of his normal attack, it's fine to adjust the direction only at the moment of attack. Therefore, aiming in the opposite direction of the enemy while approaching and then attacking is an effective strategy. By attacking this way, it's harder for the opponent to predict the range of your normal attack, making it easier to land hits.Auto-Aim Normal Attack
A slightly easier version of the above tip. If your fingers hurt while painting or you haven't quite mastered it, you might struggle with it. In such cases, you can use auto-aim. When using Hank's auto-aim, initially, the balloon might fly in a strange direction, but once you release the attack joystick, the balloon will fly directly toward the enemy. If you're not used to painting, try using this method first and practice the painting technique afterward.Understanding the Hitbox of Normal Attacks
Keep in mind that the visible balloon and the hitbox might differ. Occasionally, an attack may be within range but still result in a miss, so be cautious.Proper Positioning
Due to Hank's playstyle, which focuses on holding and defending a line, it's a good idea to consider where you want to take the line fight before starting the game. A good position is one where walls or barriers are evenly distributed, and there is a path within your normal attack range. In open areas, it's better to avoid staying unless it's an urgent situation.Brawl Ball Techniques
When you grab the ball, immediately use your normal attack. This technique allows you to charge your normal attack while dribbling. By doing so, you can move the ball, kick it, and immediately use a fully charged normal attack, giving you an advantage.

Game Modes

Gem Grab

Gem Grab

In Gem Grab, Hank can also be effective due to his ability to control the map and provide consistent damage. He excels in holding positions and can defend the gem mine effectively by using his normal attacks to pressure enemies. Since Hank is tanky and can sustain damage, he’s useful for supporting teammates and securing gems. However, he should avoid being too exposed in open spaces, as his slower mobility can make him vulnerable to faster, ranged brawlers. It’s best to position him near walls or other cover to take advantage of his strengths.

Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball

In Brawl Ball, he can use walls and barriers to take a stable position for supporting attacks or defense.
