If you are a pro spike player, you need to get your super right away and put it on zone where you can heal and do damage.
Popping Pincushion
Spike shoots 3 waves of needles in all directions, dealing 1080 damage per hit.
Fertilize
After using Super, Spike regenerates 1400 health per second by staying in its area of effect.
Sticky Spikes
Spike's Super slows 30% more effectively.
Shield
Gain extra 900 Health as a consumable Shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
Guide
This is the build I recommend because it is more skill based and your stats will be better. Also, it gives your teams more area control and less deaths, and more kills .

Because he does fire damage so that burns the enemies so your super can do the rest of the work.

Because he can get easy kills or brawlers low.

He can stun the enemies and break walls.
