even though the other gadget and star power aren't that bad, they're not as good since you're a tank so revealing the enemies isn't gonna be a big change since you're a melee brawler
Worker Ants
Trunk heals from the first source of damage taken for the next 2 secs. Cooldown: 16 seconds.
New Insect Overlords
Ants also reduce the damage of enemies by 15%.
Damage
Deal 15% extra Damage when your Brawler is below 50% Health.
Shield
Gain extra 900 Health as a consumable Shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
Guide
gadget is nice against brawlers who deal a LOT of damage in one hit like snipers or throwers, it's also good against tanks like bull or bibi, you regain a lot of your missing health, sadly it's not that useful against brawlers like poison brawlers. i still think this gadget has more value than the other one. with trunk, you can allow yourself to waste some ammo to put the ants on your own. as for the star power, the star power i picked gives you and your teammates more survivability, the other star power isn't bad but not as good as this one, survivability is way more important in brawl stars. as for the gears, the damage one is a MUST, the second one is kinda flexible tho, i would recommend either shield or health !
Game Modes
Brawl Ball
brawl ball maps are usually kinda small so it's nice for trunk to put ants everywhere as well as approaching the enemies
Gem Grab
he's AMAZING at controlling and protecting your teammates, you shouldn't get the gems tho, only try to protect your teammates but take the gems if needed of course !
Works Well With
Kit
heal as well as giving you the opportunity to approach easily
Poco
same as kit
Ziggy
he gives good map control, especially with his super and can take care of the throwers himself if you can't approach them
Tick
same as ziggy, i believe tick is the best thrower to pair with trunk if you want to control a zone while doing some damage
