When we talk about use the special for close range you need to have the starpower spirt slap becuase ot will deal 1000 damage on impact wich helps for sniping brawlers with low hp becuase if you know where they are you can shoot them with your special even behind walls becuase genes speicial goas through walls. Now coming back to the close range technique you will first use your gadet to deal a little damage then use all of your ammo and hit them with it and if you didnt a have you speicial it should be charged by them so if they only need a little more damage you can use your speical on them if there not deaffeted already and if they try to flee use your speicial pulling them back and finishing the job and if they are still alive do whatever you feel necessary to win. With the gears talk to the hand is used for the sniping and pulling techniques I previously spoke of and the shield gear is the when you ambushed the extra shield takes the first roung of damage giving you time to react and defeat them.
