Both gadgets are amazing however they have different play styles. -If you want to get Cord 1k or even 2k and you like passive plays then the replanting gadget is your best fit. This gadget can be used very diversely in several situations. It is very helpful when you are stuck in sticky situations helping you able to just jump over a wall to get out of trouble. But don't forget he can jump over walls if someone is on the other side with low hp then kill them. If they are getting away and you are so close to hitting them then jump.-If you want to get Cord 1k or even 2k and you like aggressive plays then the poison mushroom is for you. This gadget is amazing for stopping your enemies and hurting them while keeping yourself safe. However this gadget can make you to aggressive catching you off guard and get killed. So you must find the golden mean between being passive and aggressive with this play style.2. Next I will talk about his star power-ONLY use comboshrooms. As a addicted Cord main I found comboshrooms his only useful star power. His other one is very useless. No one will walk into the mushrooms poisoning themselves. Some may say "oh but it can heal you". NO it is very rare that the mushroom will appear in front of you when you need it desperately. I have a LOT of experience with this I have tested this several times.3. Gears-as usual use the damage and shield gears. They are the most helpful ones. However I found his speed gear to be helpful in bushy maps but only bushy maps.4. Last tips-Don't be to confident!!!! This can lead to death after death after death. Cord is a squishy brawler so do not go spamming auto aim at a Griff.

-Try not to team. However Cordelius is a great team player. Link on to a player charging your super and whenever he or she gets in trouble use super on them. They WILL want to team with you. But try not to use this only if you are close to death and highly threatened.
