A Real Guide on Buzz

Buzz is an extremely versatile assassin, being able to pick off opponents with ease. His gadget Reserve Buoy can be used to get close to an opponent to charge a stunning super or to get rid of the ball in Brawl Ball. It increases his movement greatly, and this guide focuses on Buzz movement, which is where he really shines. His mobility makes him a great pick in modes such as Gem Grab, Showdown, and Brawl Ball where movement is critical. His hyper charge makes him an extremely reliable gem carrier because he can get across the map in seconds and also has relatively high HP. His super is good at getting kills, but what some people don't realize is that the longer he throws his buoy to a target the longer he stuns it. This makes close range stuns much less effective, and also when going for the maximum length it gives the opponent time to dodge with brawlers like Mico, Mortis, Gale and a lot of other brawlers. You can target walls that the opponent is touching to stun also, especially during Hypercharge for a double stun that almost always kills. He works effectively on almost every map, but if you use the vision gadget he is really only effective on maps like Cavern Churn, Feast or Famine, and Snake Prairie. A rule of thumb is never change the star power- the extra range is essential to his play style. The speed gear adds to his mobility while he is farming super in a bush or sneaking up on enemies, and the damage gear helps him win those crucial 1v1s he is in so often. I often find that the super is also great as an escape technique, most often in showdown. I got most of my 1000 trophies on Buzz in solo showdown, because that is where he really pops off with his crazy 1v1 potential. When attacking a stunned enemy, remember to move clockwise around them to land hits faster- this trick can be used anytime.
