Guide

I want to talk about the update first. I will make also the guide. Check up a clear space where the guide will begin. So, the new update. It is very good, in my opinion, because the ranked rework si just just a better version of all 3 at the same place, the pro pass has so much value for 600 gems, like 25$, very cheap. Plus the skin upgrades Colt has with the new pro skin and whe can't forget about the 0/11 icon. I would buy it only for that.Moving on to the hyperacharges, we got 12 this update because they announced that, until June, we will have all the hypers. Then, the brawlers will receive a hypercharge on launch. Here are all of them:
Carl
Bea
Hank
Mandy
Mr. P
Bo
Sam
Buster
Chester
Lola
Grom
Meg
First, let's rank them. I think it's obvious which is rank 12. Carl. His fire deals 400 damage, like really, with what would that even help you? Plus, it lasts veryyy short. At least if it lasted like Berry's attacks.Rank 11 is Meg. I don't see any potential in thisbhypercharge and it looks just trash to me.Rank 10 is Bo. 2 mines won't help him out and if the mines would explode on impact, after dealing your super, and then place another mines, well that will be a hypercharge. Or if at least the mines would explode without delay when touching them. Rank 9 is Lola. I think the idea with the bigger and more damage ego is good and can be very valuable, but don't you think it's really common? They could make 3 ego like that but of course Suppercell isn't listening right now.Rank 8 is Bea. I think her hypercharge is good, the idea of slowing all team down would help you teamwipe the whole team. That's why I think that she could be paired very well with a sniper like Piper or Mandy.Rank 7 is Sam. Yes, it's good to have infinite supers but the hypercharge duration is so short, that you have time to us it only twice or three times.Rank 6 is Grom. I think the projectiles are made so when the enemy gets knockbacked, they will surely get the 2nd hit.Rank 5 is Buster. Yes, his hypercharge is soo good, but I couldn't place it higher because the upcoming hypercharges are even better. The 360 was pretty normal for buster, but no one was expecting the damage, which is crazy.Rank 4 is Mandy, whose hyper brings her mutation back, so I don't have what to add.Rank 3 is Mr. P. They will be so annoying for Piper and Bea.Chester Mains are happy about this bcs his hyper is on 2. I think everyone expected this hyper, which turns out being very good. And I think you know which one I personally chose to be the first one: Hank. His hyper is just so good, his homing projectiles don't hit every time, but when they do it, you deal just a lot of damage. Paired with his hyper, Hank is good in open maps since in maps with most walls, the homing projectiles will hit the wall and destroy very quickly. What do you think of the UNO collab? I think it's pretty good since the gambling boy Chester got a skin with crazy effects.I don't think the gamemode will be so played and so good, but I can explain it to you. It is a kind of present plunder or whatever it was cold and you had to put the card to the enemy base but I don't know how many times you had to do this to win the game. The action cards were like this: the block card blocked all the enemy brawlers for some seconds(2 i think), the UNO reverse sent all the cards back to the enemy team and the +2 gave the allies plus two power cubes.Let's move on to the other stuff: daily rewards. They are good, like 10/10 because they can give you a free hyper drop and who knows what it can give you more?
Gadget rework. Some brawlers benefit from it, and some brawlers don't. This update I think will change the meta with this gadget rework. Some brawlers got buffed like Rosa, since she can have unlimited bushes on the map, and it takes only 11 seconds i think, plus the gadget cooldown is too good. Next one is Squeak, because he can snipe his enemies whenever he wants with his gadget. Both of Colt's gadgets benefit from this update, because now Colt can reload very fast with his infinity gadget plus that he can break the whole map. Let's not talk about Jacky who has only around 5 seconds to wait to activate her next gadget after the speed ends.----------STORY----------
"The owner of Starr Park's escape room, Finx is meant to help visitors complete tasks. Instead, he uses his time controlling abilities to cause mischief! Also, he LOVES cats."
----------STORY--------------------ABILITIES----------
Finx is a Mythic Brawler who has moderate health, a variable damage output, and immense utility with his Super. His attack is a pharaoh with hands from his scepter. For his Super, he creates an area that increases his and his allies' projectile speeds, and decreases the enemy's projectile speeds. His first Gadget, Back to the Finxture, marks the ground where he will teleport back to after 3 seconds with his initial ammo. His second Gadget, No Escape, allows the center projectile of his next attack to temporarily stun enemies. Stunned enemies will be impervious to all damage for the duration. His first Star Power, Hieroglyph Halt, temporarily reduces enemies' reload speed when hit by Finx's attack. His second Star Power, Primer, increases his Super's duration when he hits an enemy inside the Super.Attack: Chronocast
"Finx fires 3 long range projectiles, with the outer ones dealing 50% of the damage of the center projectile."
From his scepter, Finx attacks with three parallel projectiles, which consist of a pharaoh in the center, and a hand on each side. The pharaoh has a larger projectile, and deals double the damage of a hand, but it charges as much of his Super as a hand would.Super: Time Warp
"Finx warps time in an area, decreasing the projectile speed of enemy Brawlers caught in the Super, while increasing the projectile speed of any teammates and himself. Finx's projectiles will also get a damage buff."
With his Super, Fink creates an area with a 3-tile radius that lasts for 7 seconds. If his or his allies' projectiles pass through that area, their projectile speed increases by 30%, while the enemies' is decreased by 70%. Despite the description, Brawlers themselves do not need to be in the Super's radius for it to take effect, only the projectiles need to be. Ally projectiles will keep their buffs for their entire range, while enemy projectiles will speed up as soon as they leave the radius. The change also applies to thrown projectiles, like Dynamike's and Barley's attack or Sprout's and Brock's Super. However, this doesn't apply to Brawlers who uses themself as a projectile, like Mortis' and Kenji's attack, Mico's jump, or El Primo's, Fang's, Kit's, Bull's, Darryl's, and Surge's Super. Also, if Finx's attack passes through the area, his damage and Super charge is increased by 25%.Gadgets
Back to the Finxture
"Finx steps back in time, returning to the position and ammo he had 3 seconds ago."
Upon activation, Finx teleports back to the position he was 3 seconds ago and also gaining back the ammo he had. A shadowy hitbox displays where Finx will teleport. If Finx is defeated when he uses it, the Gadget cooldown resets, and he doesn't teleport to where he was 3 seconds ago.No Escape
"Finx's next center projectile from his main attack freezes the enemy in time for 2 seconds, making them unable to take actions for the duration, but also making them immune to any damage."
Activating this Gadget allows Finx's next attack to stun enemies for 2 seconds upon hitting them. However, enemies affected by this Gadget will be impervious to all damage for the duration, and all attacks will simply phase through, including the Ball in Brawl Ball. A Gadget symbol will glow above Finx's head signaling this Gadget's activation, as well as a glowing attack joystick. This Gadget's cooldown begins after the attack is used.Star Powers
Hieroglyph Halt
"Finx reduces the reload speed of any enemy Brawlers hit by his main attack by 30% for 3 seconds."
Enemy Brawlers hit by Finx's attack have their reload speed decreased by 30% for 3 seconds, like Willow's Love Is Blind Star Power.Primer
"Damage dealt only from Finx's projectiles that are sped up by Time Warp, will increase the Super duration by 0.25 seconds each."
When Finx lands an attack that passed through his Super, the duration of his Super is increased by 0.25 seconds with each projectile.
----------ABILITIES--------------------GUIDE----------
If you want to get better at the game, don't auto aim with Finx, since you will hit only the middle target. If you want to deal more damage, be sure that you don't hit with the center, move it a bit to the side, like Tara's cards, to deal more damage. If you keep not hitting good, you can give up or you can trust the process and get better.
Keep in mind that if you have the enemy at max range, the mid attack has longer range. So, you can keep that in your advantage and try to hit only with the mid, since you can't deal more damage now because the other two small projectiles won't hit.
Tips for Gadget:
Finx's Back to the Finxture gadget allows him to either deal massive damage or escape.
Finx can use this gadget to unload 6 shots in succession by using the gadget instantly after unleashing three shots. When using this tactic, make sure you are around the same place 3 seconds ago.
Finx can use this gadget to escape from close-range combat by walking back and forth over a considerable distance. You may also lure assassins to jump onto your current position and teleport away with this gadget.
Remember that the attack is so wide, that the small parts can even go through walls.
There is also a blue circle to show you where you will go when you activate the gadget.
----------GUIDE--------------------NERFS----------
Carl double pickaxe: if you use 2 Finx supers, and Carl shots constantly, he can stack up 3 attacks, and throw 3 pickaxes.
Charlie double yo-yo: this can be done with only one Finx super. You just have to use your attack two times from close range, then in the middle of the attack, move farther and throw one or two more attacks.
Emz infinite damage: because Emz's attacks last longer, because the attacks slow down they will last longer, so be sure to not put your super onto your safe.
Cordelius double Shadow Realm: if Cordelius throes a super at a enemy at max range on the other side of the super, Cordelius can charge another super and send the one who is next to him, making it able to reach with 2 brawlers in the Shadow Realm.
Gus triple spirit: if you shot three ballons with the spirit bar charged, and hit all the ballons, you can stack up to 3 spirits which will deal more than 6k damage, which is insane.

Game Modes

Hot Zone

Hot Zone

Since he is a good controller, he is very valuable in this mode because if you know where to put your super, you will 90% win the match. Putting your super on key places will make it harder for the enemies reach the zone because you will be unkillable because it is very easy to dodge the shots with his mechanic: slowing down the projectiles. Not that he is already very good, you and your teammates will also get a buff, which is having more projectile speed. Don't put your super exactly on the hot zone, because it will be harder to dodge the attacks. Instead, put it a bit before the zone, like in their half. This way it will be easier to dodge, and make you and your teammates can survive forever.

Gem Grab

Gem Grab

He is good in Gem Grab because he is a Controller, but not mainly as a gem carrier. He is good in this mode because he has this game breaking gadget which helps him a lot, and he can counter a lot of brawlers that are good in this mode.

Works Well With

Meeple

Meeple

Pairing Meeple's super with Finx's super, the projectiles will be faster, also causing them to go through walls.
