This guide will cover which gears, gadget, and Star Power you should use for the Support Brawler: Max.Even though many people would choose the Speed gear as one of the gears for Max, due to her extreme speed as the fastest brawler in the game, you simply don’t need to use the Speed gear. Instead, use the Damage and extra gadget gear as you can get that extra damage and with the extra gadget gear, you can dash more while being immune to all damage.Now, what Gadget is better for Max? Personally, I prefer the Phase Shifter as it makes you immune to all damage while dashing while Sneaky Sneakers lets others know where you will teleport back to so they will attack you at that spot.The better Star Power for Max is the Run n Gun Star Power as it allows you to reload faster while moving, which means more damage.Tips on how to play Max:
Max is a support brawler, which means that her primary role is to support her team. To effectively utilize Max as a support brawler, use your super when teammates are inside the super area so they also get the speed boost for the duration of Max’s Super.
Max is the fastest brawler in the game, which means that it is very easy to dodge with her. However, the maximize her potential, you have to change your movement joystick to the smallest so it is easier and faster to move, which will help you a lot when dodging with Max.
Max is a counter to many brawlers who do not have a wide attack as Max can easily dodge their shots, however, this is not the case for some brawlers, such as Nita as it is very annoying for Max to constantly deal with Bruce.
Some brawlers that counter Max are Poco, Amber, Jackie, and Nita. Poco counters Max as long as Max is in his range as Poco has a wide attack so Max can’t dodge it if she is in Poco’s range. Amber counters Max as she deals a lot of damage in mid-range encounters, which Max utterly fails in comparison to Amber and Amber also has longer range than Max so Max will have to close the distance, giving Amber a great advantage over Max. Jackie is a great counter to Max as Jackie has a lot of health and with her gadget, she can easily chase Max down and kill Max. Nita is a good counter to Max for reasons stated above. So what do you do if you encounter these brawlers which counter Max? If it’s a brawler that has shorter range than Max, such as Poco, Jackie, or Nita, maintain a distance so you can hit them but they can’t hit you. However, if Jackie uses her gadget, you should run away while attacking so you deal damage which will get you super and you can use super to run away if Jackie gets too close. If Jackie uses her super, you should gadget away so you can escape and use your superior speed to run away from Jackie’s range. If Nita uses her super, still maintain the distance and kill Bruce first so if you autoaim, it will aim for Nita instead of Bruce. If you are using Max and up against an Amber, then you should get a teammate or run so you don’t get killed.
If Brawl Ball, use Max’s speed to your advantage by getting the ball, kicking it, using your super so you get that speed boost, get the ball again, kick the ball again, gadget and continue until you get the ball in the enemy goal.
