Kooky Popper
Explode all uncollected spirits, dealing 2160 damage to nearby enemies.
Spirit Animal
Spooky increases the damage of a teammate by 25% for 5 seconds.
Damage
Deal 15% extra Damage when your Brawler is below 50% Health.
Shield
Gain extra 900 Health as a consumable Shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
Guide
Note: This guide is SOLELY my opinion, and my methods of pushing were showdown, gem grab, and knockout.Gears Note: Personally, I think shield can be replaced by health or +1, but damage should stay.Ghost Note: Learn how to do the two ghost strategy, (shoot ghost shot, quickly shoot second right before first shot hits).Just because Gus has good range doesn't mean he can't play close up either. If you have your super, it knockbacks and you do a crazy amount of damage upfront. His damage is rather strong, so don't be afraid to play fully aggressive with Gus.We use the starpower that benefits our allies for one key reason: you are not the only brawler on your team. The knockback effect also applies when you give the shield to your teammates, which can be used to let them live for extended periods of time.Now the rest is quite trivial, just hit your targets and get value with your gadget. PLEASE don't be the random that pops all ghosts immediately, instead, leave some on the map so people can hill, or use the gadget to confirm kills.Random Thing I Observed: Gruesome Gus skin has some input delay when I use it, so I recommend using Boy Scout Gus as the 0 delay skin if you do choose to use a skin.Hope this helps :)
Game Modes
Knockout
For some reason it won't let me add bounty here, but bounty and KO are like the same thing anyways. Shooting Star is an exceptional map for Gus, and I feel Gus is also strong on KO like Out in the Open. Honestly much explanation is not needed here, just don't die early and be sure to watch for your teammates and yourself.
Gem Grab
Undermine is a god level map for Gus. You can choose to play lane OR mid, and completely fry your opponents if played right (w spawn trapping too)! Give shield to gem carrier if needed.
Duo Showdown
Smoke is honestly your biggest opponent at higher level games. In Solo Showdown, you can use your shield to tank 1/2 hits of smoke. This is also why I would use shield gear here so you can tank smoke. In duo, I like +1 more as the gadget use to pop ghosts to confirm kills in endgame is nice.
Hot Zone
Eh, debatable, it's manageable on certain maps like Ring Of Fire. I don't really like him on Hot Zone though.
Works Well With
Ash
Any tank is fine, I just like Ash with Gus because Ash is extremely meta right now and the healing can keep this immense pressure going along for so much longer.
