Guide

Loadout: - For gadget and SP, Last Hurrah and Well-oiled are irreplaceable and consistent on everywhere. Well-oiled is a passive (one less thing to think about) and makes your brawler perma healing machine, even mid-combat. Last Hurrah requires some getting used to and thats maybe the only skillful thing in your kit. Use it to tank shots or to get out of sticky situations (pinch, Edgar jump, closeq peeks etc.) - For gears, Shield is a must! Thicc Head is very much the base secondary to go for (99%) and Vision on very, very specific maps and comps (1%). Everything else is doodoo, even the Damage gear (your SP cancels it...); Thicc Head allows your ult to tank a few shots, which is very good in higher elo, because it makes snipers waste their ammo, and throwers to panic and most likely die, even if they hit 1-2 attacks (depending on the brawler).Gameplay: - Just aim at the red bars!! ...Seriously though, hitting stuff with this brawler is pretty simple (high range, wide spread). One thing you have to understand is the big delay before your attacks land and deal damage. In other words, predict your enemy's movement or block escape routes, passageways etc. Tick is very, very strong with good, aggressive teammates, pinches are very free. Keep your range and stay cool - just keep ticking the least damage you can get and feed your Ultimate.- For your Ultimate, try to use it on the squishiest enemy in their team. Keep reserve ammo for when you Ult, so you literally make the whole map lava for the enemy and force the enemy a choice between running away from your mines or your Ult, sometimes even both. Beware your Ult pushes enemies with it's explosion, so try to keep that in mind and place mines to the sides according to the slight push. Your gadget Last Hurrah also pushes enemies away from you, so keep that in mind too. Notes: - I didn't have a hard time ranking this solo, so neither should you, but if you find it hard, just ask a friend (aggressive pref) and the push is simple. - For synergies or pairings, Tick works well with literally everything except other throwers, so try to not pick him (in ranked) when other throwers are drafted from your teammates.- After rank 28-29 enemies will most likely dodge your attacks easily unless you use them in pairs to help your teammates pinch.Good luck and have fun!

Game Modes

Bounty

Bounty

Your best gamemode and go-to choice. Most maps I know of should be perfect for your brawler.

Knockout

Knockout

Similar to Bounty, but way more punishing and nerve-wracking.

Gem Grab

Gem Grab

I'd say Tick works really great on this gamemode, but if you are pushing solo, try not to go for Gem Grab since most randoms here are absolute monkeys and Tick can't really work as a Gem carrier due to his low health, low movement speed and almost no way to defend himself outside of Last Hurrah's cooldown. Some games you might go insane K/D and damage and still lose, because gems are gems :*
