These choices should help you with using Sandy for long-term. HIs Star Powers are interchangeable but I prefer Rude Sands because it can be used for area control more effectively (it prevents health regeneration for enemies) His Mythic gear is very useful for area control as well, buy it and any other gear can be used (perhaps the best is Gadget Charge and Damage)
Sweet Dreams
Sandy's next attack lulls opponents to sleep for 1.0 seconds. They will, however, wake up from any damage.
Rude Sands
Sandstorm now also damages enemies for 216 damage per second.
Exhausting Storm
Enemies inside of Sandy's Sandstorm deal 20% less damage.
Gadget Charge
Increases number of Gadget uses per battle by 1.
Guide
Use Sandy on the right game modes, he should not be used for Solo and Duo Showdown, as well as Knockout. 3v3 gamemodes are better for him. Learn how to use his Super effectively, as it's what makes him such a good Brawler. Use his Super on places where the enemy often crosses so you can sneakily ambush them. It's best if his teammates deal a lot of damage at close range, so attacking enemies is easier. Also, try to put his Super near bushes (adjacent if possible) so you can escape into them while the Super is active. His Sweet Dreams Gadget is very useful in battle as well. It can be used for escaping dangerous situations or getting an advantage in battle (his attack is piercing and covers quite a wide area so you can stun multiple enemies. His Sleep SImulator Gadget is decent but less versatile. It takes a long time to work, and you are vulnerable to damage. Perhaps you can do it while enemies are respawning or in your Super?
Game Modes
Gem Grab
Charge your Super as quick as possible, then use it at 5-7 gems, to collect the rest easily and escape (save your Gadget for this time)
Hot Zone
Use the Super on the Zone and stay there as long as possible (the Sleep Simulator Gadget is useful for this)
Works Well With
Jacky
She can deal a lot of damage at close range (her attack and Super affects a large area)
Doug
Same with Jacky, but his respawning is useful if he dies in the area
Bull
He can deal devastating damage with his main attack, and he can charge out of the Super area and ambush enemies quickly
