Cordelius Beginner Build Guide

Cordelius is a Legendary Assassin brawler known for his ability to take people to the Shadow Realm using his Super "This Is My Domain". Cordelius is a very fast brawler with somewhat low health and very fast reload speed with moderate damage. He can use his Super to bring opponents to the Shadow Realm for 8 seconds giving him 20% faster movement speed and 30% faster reload speed. Cordelius basic attack is just two mushrooms being sent at opponents using his gardening tool and have average range.Gadget - Poison Mushroom: This gadget makes Cordelius' next attack silence the enemy for 1 second meaning that they cannot attack for 1 second. This gadget allows Cordelius to easily surprise enemies and defeat them before they can attack back. The silence not only allows him to surprise and kill enemies but it can be used as an escape tool if Cordelius is low on health he can use his gadget to hit the opponent then retreat to heal up if necessary.Star Power - Comboshrooms : Comboshrooms allows Cordelius to deal significantly more damage which makes it much easier to kill foes. If Cordelius hits both mushrooms then his second mushroom will deal 30% more damage which can be a big increase and damage. This increases his already solid damage output and allows him to have an easier time killing enemies and breaking crates in Showdown which is his best gamemode.Gears - Damage Gear + Shield Gear : Damage Gear increases Cordelius' damage even more when below 50% health and this is very good because it makes him deal insane damage and Cordelius doesn't have the strongest health. The Shield Gear is to help out with his low health and make him more tanky therefore he can be much more aggressive towards opponents without dying.Helpful Tips/Other Information : Cordelius deals moderate damage and has quite fast reload speed so it is okay to play very aggressive and chase down opponents because he has quite fast speed and opponents will be scared of him. Most opponents will try to keep their distance from Cordelius because of his Super Charging Trait and his high damage so you can use this to your advantage and force opponents out of a key spot in a battle. Summary :
- Cordelius can use his Gadget to silence foes making him able to surprise them, prevent himself from dying or as an escape route if needed- Cordelius can use his Star Power to deal more damage and get rid of opponents faster- Cordelius is best at Showdown maps where he does high damage and can scare away foes, Cordelius is very good at maps with cover and walls for him to hide behind and charge his Super- Cordelius' other gadget Replanting can be helpful too as it allows Cordelius to be more aggressive and jumping over walls to kill opponents but in my opinion it is less useful and the same goes for his Mushroom Kingdom Star Power which can be a nice heal but isn't as helpful because the heal is small, opponents can take the healing mushrooms and they can be hard to reach sometimes-Cordelius can use the Shadow Realm to his advantage at both taking opponents away from the battle to support teammates and used to escape because he gets increased movement speed.
