Best build for Shelly according to new meta
Clay Pigeons
On activation, for the next 5 seconds Shelly's main attacks focus the fire to a smaller area with an increased range.
Band-Aid
When Shelly falls below 40% health, she instantly heals for 2220 health. Band-Aid recharges in 15 seconds.
Damage
Deal 15% extra Damage when your Brawler is below 50% Health.
Gadget Charge
Increases number of Gadget uses per battle by 1.
Guide
Shelly is a good brawler in terms of average because of her damage and the ability to take down enemies easily.
Shelly does a lot of damage in close range and long range with her gadget.
Start playing passive to charge the super then you can plan your ambush. You can play aggro after you get in a good position. Avoid long ranged brawlers that do a lot of damage like Piper. You will have a big disavantage compared to versality.
I chose the Clay Pigeons gadget because of low versality. With the gadget, Shelly is allowed to play more agressivly. It combos with the slow-down that allows you to put an insane damage there. The band-aid is the best star power because it gives you more time to finish the enemy of, because sometimes Shelly isn't able to waste all of her ammo.
One last tip is that you should not use the super to finish enemies off (exept for emergency situations) because it recharges your super a little. Same and worse if you activated the hypercharge 💀
Game Modes
Brawl Ball
Just play aggro and destroy the enemies goal so it easier to score.
Hot Zone
Your function is to protect the zone not to earn it. Better if you play on a map with only 1 zone, so it is way easier to defend it. Avoid dying.
Showdown
Avoid long range brawlers and go for squishy ones. Shelly is very good if you use her right. Try to play in bushy maps so you will be able to sneak.
Works Well With
Griff
Griff is like shelly but better at pushing enemies towards you.
Gale
Same thing but not a high dps brawler.
Bo
Good for bushy maps if using the first star power that allows him to have nore visions in bushes.
Bull
Bull can be a lot better if playing aggro. Always group up with im in bushes
