Level 1 Clancy is the worst brawler in the game, but
Level 3 Clancy is the best brawler in the gameThis makes it a priority to get level 3. In fast-paced games like brawl ball and hot zone, you can get level 3 Clancy pretty easily if you have good aim. But, in other game modes like Showdown and Gem Grab, you need to upgrade Clancy as fast as possible because it will be much harder.Never play Clancy (or Surge) in knockoutIn game modes like Brawl Ball and Hot Zone, use the following build the maximize extra buffs.

Game Modes
Brawl Ball
Get 1 teammate with long range and 1 who is a wall-breaker (hopefully a tank). Once you get Level 2 Clancy, the wall-breaker teammate should open the map so you can dominate and quickly get Level 3. Play offensively by attacking players to level up, but prioritize defense by stalling and not letting the opponent score. When playing Clancy, 0-0 is better than 1-1 because you want the game to go to overtime and you want to have a little leeway if the opponent scores once.If the game goes into overtime, it should be a free win as long as the other team is not long range. If they all are long-range brawlers, then play more offensive because they will win in overtime.
Hot Zone
If there are 2 hot zones: Make 1 of your teammates stay in the closer one and make the other teammate go to the far hot zone. You will stay between them as area control until you reach level 2. Once you hit level 2, go offensive into the far zone.If there is one zone: Make 1 teammate a thrower and they will control. Have the other teammate be the one who stays in the zone. You will go in and out trying to get Level 2. Once again, when you reach level 2, you can be more aggressive.
Heist
Because of Clancy’s insanely high DPS, he can obliterate the entire safe with just 2 super at level 3. You should use the gadget and star power that help you level up because getting level 3 and farming super are vital in this mode.
Works Well With
Larry & Lawrie
You need a thrower to control the Hot Zone or the Brawl Ball map.
Griff
You need a high DPS brawler before Clancy levels up.
Frank
Assassins counter Clancy when he is level 1 or 2, so you need a tank to counter them.
