These are some good tips for Edgar:
1. when 1v1 another Edgar don't charge into the other Edgar instead let the other Edgar chase you and you walk backwards and attack
2. never chase any marksmen or other long-ranged brawlers, Some Like Piper can two-tap you.
3. gadget before you super.
4. Edgar is good at maps like Sneaky Bushes or any maps that have tons of bushes. This way he can bush camp and sneak ambush another enemy.
5. in a showdown at the start rush to the middle and farm cubes then camp in bushes. In duo showdown make sure to stay close to your teammate.
6. Always watch out for brawlers like Cordelius and Otis because they can mute you when you're spamming.
7. Don't jump into the enemy and spam your attack some brawlers can counter like piper or bull.
8. Stay as close to the gas as possible during endgame. NEVER target someone or engage first during the endgame. You’ll know when the chaos starts when everyone starts to attack each other, but you shouldn’t be hasty. Save your super+hypercharge as long as you can and wait for some people to die, then clean up the rest. The person who activates hypercharge usually wins.
