GUS - meta build

GadgetOk so the reason I chose Kooky Popper is because I feel like if you rake up those spirits and then this gadget is ready, you can ambush lots of people. IDK if you get what I mean, but these can be a helpful trap and bush scouter if needed. Plus, it deals 1120 damage which is pretty insane - take Edgar - that'll knock off like 1/5 of his health even if he has shield gear.I didn't choose Soul Switcher because, well, I'm not the kind of guy to take that sort of gamble. Might be a stupid decision, but I really don't think it gives you that much of an edge, and I can't really think of any situations where you would desperately need this. Frankly I'm a little sad because I know some brawlers who have broken gadgets but we gotta work with what we have, and I love Gus so I can't really complain :).Star PowersI thought this was a hard pick and tbh really depends on the situation. I've had teammates who have no wild idea what the dropped spirits do lol as they don't even have Gus unlocked :) (oh dear now you know how low trophies I have!!) so choosing Health Bonanza is not optimal. It could TOTALLY work in a situation where you have comms with teammates and clutch moments.But overall, especially if you're quite new to Gus, I advise you go with Spirit Animal The only problem with this is you gotta know when and where the time is right, as if y'all are just chilling in the bushes the five seconds will be gone in a flash. Plus, unless you have comms with your teammates, they won't know you have this star power active either so I recommend activating your super when your teammate is in combat or approaching combat - gotta have a good eye!
