Guide

Before I start ANYTHING here, small disclaimer. Yeah uh, (drill) you to a certain someone for your actually (drill)ing pathetic lack of skill in your "Ziggy guide", you made me wanna gouge my eyes out (uh, in Minecraft of course 😃👍) from how bad it is (promoting Lily gameplay, yuck). You know who you are. Here he is, my absolute favorite brawler overall (second only to Gigi in terms of character) himself, Ziggy! The 10th Mythic Controller of the game (more than Mythic Assassins so far btw) is actually more of a "Controller" like Willow, where his attack is a thrower attack. You mark a small circle on the map and after a short delay, THEN ALONG COMES ZEUS, HE HURLS HIS THUNDERBOLT, HE ZAPS said area. Ziggy's reload speed ain't the best, which means you gotta be real sure where you wanna zap and when, so you gotta take Miss Information's advice from Gameoverse: "If you're having trouble, shoot where they're going, instead of where they are!". The damage is fine at 1900 for each zap, but all the previously mentioned factors alongside the damage make it so you have to be real patient with Zig-Zag over here. His super calls forth a massive circle that moves slowly in a straight line, dealing a good bit of chip damage overtime, and it also makes going to the specific area you aim it towards practically a death wish for your enemies. Now time for the more complex stuff.Part 1: Gadgets. His Gadgets are a pretty simple choice, if you want an easier time controlling the map and dealing more damage on average, pick Electric Shuffle. Now You See Me can work sometimes, but it's a Gigi sorta teleport where it takes a bit before it goes off, this isn't Gray you're playing here, and I'd advice against using it, especially when the alternative is so good.Part 2: Star Powers. Now here, is where we reach a dilemma. On one hand, more damage potentially very consistently is tempting, but on the other hand, an easier time killing enemies by limiting their movement via super. I've settled for Thunderstruck because while seeing how long you can keep The Great Ziggini going is a fun meta-game you can play and it can be very, very rewarding at its best, I believe Thunderstruck's consistency and how much better it makes your super is a bit more valuable on average.Part 3: Gears.I've seen a lot of people say Damage goes well on Ziggy. I disagree. He has no health, so to make use of your Damage gear, you have to be at 3200 health. AT BEST. Keep in mind a Piper can one-shot you at max range like this (though I'll admit, if you're actually behind walls that shouldn't be of much a problem). After the cooldown nerf on Electric Shuffle, I'd highly suggest Gadget Cooldown to use it more often, because the more zaps all over the map and the more damage you deal overall, the better, and Shield comes very much in handy on a lower-health brawler like Ziggy.Part 4: Hyper.Ziggy's Hyper is the same as his normal super except once it reaches max range, it goes back to you. Keep in mind, not to where it started exactly, to YOU. Meaning you can move it to different angles depending on where you are once it reaches the end of its travel distance. However, note that if you die while it's on its way forth, it will disappear as well at max distance like a normal super instead of going back, so be careful.

Game Modes

Hot Zone

Hot Zone

Remember my point about his super making entering a specific area a death wish? Said "area" can also be the Hot Zone, combine that with how his main attacks work... do the math, great area denial.

Works Well With

8-Bit

8-Bit

Ziggy's damage from his main attack isn't the best like I've previously mentioned, so 8-Bit can be really good to help you boost that up.

Ruffs

Ruffs

Same reason as 8-Bit.

Meeple

Meeple

Nipp- I mean Meeple's trap gadget combined with Ziggy's main attack can give an enemy or sometimes even multiple enemies a small game of Touhou with your main attacks or just an electric torture room with your super.

Tara

Tara

Combine Tara's super with Electric Shuffle and your own super and congratulations, the enemy team is practically stuck.
