Archer is your main source of damage. You will focus on her star upgrades before anything else. Barbarian's 3rd star is prioritized in most situations to buff your archer. Lumberjack's 2nd star is prioritized to buff your archer. Lumberjack's 1st star is also very useful. Miner is used for extra flank and dissipate. Miner will assist the archer with killing the backline and disabling minis like Electro Wizard, Archer Queen and Healing Ranger. Miner also helps Archer by taking out gizmos like Pocket Artillery and Saint Mirror.
Against slow burst damage dealers and survivors, you would prioritize your Ice wizard 1st and 2nd star. Ice wizard will let enemies reach your archer later, letting archer deal more damage and burst out more value before death. Ice wizard's third star is mostly useless even against Clash Decks as it blocks archer, barbarian and lumberjack getting the clash abilities they need. It remove's archer's very important lead in early of the round.
Lumberjack's 2nd star is prioritized, then his 1st star. But against matchups where you need to take down something asap, Lumberjack's 3rd star is very useful. For example, King tower vs Pocket Artillery matchup. When playing against King Tower, King tower often takes down your gizmos. You can counter his King Tower by playing Lumberjack's 3rd ability to burst and take down the enemy King Tower. So that your gizmos can survive.
Ice wizard is also very good against decks that depend on movement and healing. Enemy heroes and minis like Countess, Pekka, Battle healer and easily taken down by upgrading Ice Wizard to his 1st and 2nd star. They will be slowed to let the archer to deal most of the damage. They will not be able to take down your lumberjack or barbarian king quick enough to not let your deck get much value.
Against enemy flanks, you can place the lumberjack behind your barbarian-archer combo. It can tank the damage for the archer, so that when lumberjack dies, it gives even more attack speed to your archer. You are also able to deal damage with your barbarian once the enemy flank is focused, giving more value to the mini-tanks in your decks.
In earlier rounds if facing against healing heroes, for example Shield Maiden, Wave Master and Countess, you can not only play ice wizard, but also barbarian's 2nd star and 1st star since it can deal a lot of damage overtime. Barbarian will take out those self-healing units by time and give you a higher chance to winning those matchups.
Hot pot and Saint Mirror are very useful in this tank since you only have 1 proper tank and 2 mini-tanks that are usually played in the back. Hot pot has a lot of HP to tank for your archer that might be vulnerable to any Clash abilities. You can also play Saint Mirror in the back or the front to tank damage either from flank or front. You can then play barbarian to protect your open lane archer when there is a Saint mirror up front.
Saint Mirror in the back can easily wreck your archer, you can take out archer from your deck if that is necessary. You can also prepare a 3 star miner against Saint mirror so that your archer is able to survive after killing Saint Mirror. Pocket artillery is also really strong against this deck, you want to focus on melee or backline depending on where he plays his pocket artillery. Barbarian 1st and 2nd star with lumberjack 3rd star are both useful against pocket artillery in the front. A 3 star Miner and a 3 star archer can take out a backline Pocket Artillery.
Gizmos







Place the hot pot to protect your open archer so that the lumberjack doesn't have to protect your archer and give more value to the whole deck overall.







Playing training camp with archer is insanely broken, you can do so with the lumberjack and barbarian buffs added on. It will stack up to 4-5 prides in the end.







Play Saint Mirror in the front so that the barbarian king can be played to the rear to protect your archer that is open to any sort of clash damage.
Counters







Spread your minis out, let the Wave Master lob his valkyrie/swordsman. Ice wizard will slow down the damage dealer that is being lobbed. Lumberjack will tank all the damage and can give more speed value to your archer if dead. It won't be able to get much value.







You want to play your minis close by against the Skeleton King. It is fine if you leave your Ice wizard in the open close to the middle. The archer needs to survive and you cannot let the enemy Skeleton King isolate and dissipate your minis.







Against Mega Knight's earthquake, you can play your minis to the corners since Mega Knight will be played in the front mid most of the time to get most value. Ice wizard's stars will be very useful and the Archer won't be affected by Earthquake since it is played to the corner. You also need barbarian king to be at the front mid to tank the Mega Knight so that it doesn't reach your backline.







Against flanks, you can tuck your lumberjack behind the archer to defend against them. The barbarian and lumberjack will kill the flank and the ice wizard will slow the flank down.







Tuck your lumberjack and barbarian into the corners so that the Archer only focuses those two mini-tanks and your archer will kill the enemy archer.
