Guide

The main force of this build is the Drakkisath+Shaman combo. I know you will see online and reddit that Drakkisath isn't that strong and I used to think so to but it seems people are starting to notice his strengths and some of the best builds involve him, this combo opened my eyes to how strong he can be with the right talent combos.

Why this works:
1. Drakkisath is already quite tanky, solid health pool and has resistance. The downside is that if a physical damage dealer or something like harpies came down lane he is gone in 2 seconds. By putting him down first and then shaman behind him with Earth Shield, you know have a tank that is armored and resistant, has a big HP pool, a healer behind them keeping him topped up, and as a bonus does more dps than any tank. I also go and take Chromatic Scales for his talent because he then makes the shaman resistant and any other units you add behind them like pyromancer or your flyers are now resistance and tankier.

2. After all those details about it being a tanky combo that can stay alive for long pushes, the next added synergy is that Drakkisath also makes enemy minis take more elemental damage. So right away they take high damage from him, now the shaman does more, and by adding pyromancer/bat rider behind your tank combo you are dealing immense amounts of damage.

This build works nicely when they survive long enough to keep adding more Drakkisath+Shaman combos to the lane, once you have 2 of each it is almost unstoppable.

Another nice synergy is that Quilboar is resistant as well so dropping a shaman behind him to make him armored is a cheaper alternative to get a lane pushing.

I didn't like the fit of many other blackrock units and Dark Iron Miner can be switched out but I found it very valuable to be able to drop him on any node to keep my economy ahead to fund the expensive Drakkisath+Shaman combo
