Save your gold and use versatile cards like Quilboar, Harpies, Blizzard (and even the 3 undead units included) that can also be used in other decks/builds!
I'm at lvl 32 collection, 111 sigils, and 8,000 trophies PVP at the moment as a light spender - I only bought the Arclight bundle.

TIPS:
- Pressure your opponents with a Necromancer + Baron/Quilboar/Ghoul counter-push and drop the Gargoyle on the other lane. This deck thrives on split pushing.
- Ideally, you would want your opponents to drop units first so you know where to drop your Gargoyle.
- Support pushes with poison Harpies, especially if you know that they've used their anti-air.
- Defend their push with Necromancer + any tank. Use Harpies if necessary. This often leads to a counter-push.
- OR if they swarm you, Blizzard them.
- Remember to pressure both lanes! Baron, Gargoyle, and Quilboar + Harpies can also be used for split pushes.
- Defend your pushes with Quilboar to take out their ranged units, and use Blizzard if it's just too much.
- In PVE, I sometimes replace Harpies for Huntress, Blizzard + Quilboar for Poly + SAFE Pilot combo, and Ghoul for Banshee (all versatile cards as well).
