I was stalled out on the Alliance Deadmines dungeon, but then put this together and I've been getting through red level difficulties.
I don't think any specific talents are critical here, though Clearcasting on Jaina is nice for the cost reduction of Blizzard. I have Fortification on my Footmen, but then only time that's come in handy was when the Talent for healing Alliance minis 50% on Leader deploy popped up (and you should definitely take it if it does.)
Stage 1 - Mr. Smite
Place whelp eggs on the pipe for when the Tauren comes through. Even without flame burst, they can whittle her down to nearly nothing and the tower can finish her off. You can also drop Bandits to stun to help with that.
Send Footmen up the middle preferably with Batrider following. I actually send most troops up the middle. If the left side stone/mine has gold I may send a Dark Iron over there to claim, and I've only accidentally claimed the right hand stone when Footmen split off to chase enemies. I don't think it's necessary to take it.
Then keep your eggs topped off on the pipe and send troops up the middle. Use Blizzard on large groups (preferably around the boss) when available. You should be able to take him down fairly easily.
Stage 2 - Cookie
Send Footmen and Bat to the left, a kobold to the far right, and a Dark Iron to the center chest. With the gold picked up from the chests you should be able to pop Jaina and then Blizzard the incoming wave at the left tower. I pretty much just keep sending troops left, except I save my 2nd Blizzard for the next large group that shows up to Cookie's right. One Blizzard usually takes out all but the 2 Prowlers and they are pretty low. You may need to defend your base tower a bit, but usually by the 2nd or third round of Footmen, Cookie is down.
Stage 3 - Sneed
Send any ground troops to the left chest and tower, and place whelp eggs at the base of the replicator that spits out enemies. Send a kobold to the mine next to your tower.
Here it's good to send Jaina and Bats over the middle bridge rather than behind the initial Footmen. That way they can attack from above as well as defend the middle. I keep Blizzard for the replicator groups that are likely to be problematic (Molten Giants, Tauren), otherwise I may use it on the Boss.
Keep topping up the eggs at the Replicator, and then just send your Footman/Bat either down the middle or from the right tower once you take it. Send out a Bandit to grab the chest when it pops.
I've found this one to be really effective.
EDIT: It did start to get problematic at about the 3rd red level, but I believe it's still workable.
