Guide

First Round
bandit behind WM (unless facing monk) in which place it one tile behind to the right or left (you'll have to guess if they're playing right or left)

Second Round
Witch by Bandit (place on opposite side your opponents playing ex: if they're on your right place the witch on the left)

Second round optional
Ewiz first upgrade for extra target
Bandit 2nd upgrade for stun
Witch 1st upgrade for +2 skellies

Third Round
If your Ewiz is near your witch go ahead and grab that third upgrade for a +2 energy bonus for faster spawns
