The placement board is quite useless. Specific heroes and hero placements will change how you play. You may upgrade wave master to do AOE x4 dmg if you are versing a mostly frontline player, but you may launch bandit, swordsman, or valkyrie if you are versing a main ranger player.
Techincally, its a meta since it counters most decks that have been put onto youtube (even Ze Clash Mini's video on the meta counter). The valkyrie shield breaks grand warden users, AQ and RC get countered by swordsman, and for PF and Monk, bandit carries that, due to the gigantic buff that makes her OP and she is so underrated.
This deck uses Mage, Rogue, Sea, and Clan classes (E-wiz and wiz do more dmg, bandit and swordsman have 50% chance to do +1 dmg, Every ally gets +2 energy at clash, valk and wizard get +6 HP).

Valkrie shield breaks, while bandit steals energy from mages
Pink FuryValkyrie is a sacrifice. Upgrade wave master to the AOE stun and x4 dmg. Also upgrade bandit to stun and steal energy. electro wizard for an overpowered stunlock.
Royal Championtwo star bandit should do well, swordsman is basically rc worst nightmare, so upgrade wave master to launch swordsman. You should also max swordsman so immediately after killing the rc or any other mini he does his super again.
