Deck
Guide
Peaked at 3294 trophies and top 500 on the leaderboard (Phloop on leaderboard) as 100% FTP player, done almost entirely with this deck, as it beats even the OP Royal Ghost, plus it's very fun.
- Please note:
NB = Natureborn
DA = Decoy Adept
HR = Hog Rider
WIZ = Wizard
EWIZ = Electro Wizard
IWIZ = Ice Wizard
V = Villager
MP = Mini P.E.K.K.A
A "+n" beside a name means the respective mini upgrade, where n is a number between 1 and 3. Example: EWIZ+3 means the Electro Wizard's third upgrade.
- How to play units:
- NB
A really strong and versatile hero right now, that can be either a beefy tank or a healing support. In the vast majority of matches you're going to place her in the front, and give her the third upgrade. Alternatively you can put her in the backline and give her the first upgrade, but this is a very specific case, as NB acts as the only tank in the deck, so only consider this option if the enemy deck has anti-tank minis such as P.E.K.K.A or Monk.
- Decoy Adept (or Mini P.E.K.K.A)
You're really only putting this mini down to get the specialist trait, but the Decoy Adept is very strong in this moment, and the Decoy pretty much acts as an extra mini, giving you a numerical advantage. Place him in the front, and then move him in front of enemy units such as P.E.K.K.A, Monk, or any mini that could kill your NB quickly. You don't really need to upgrade him but if your backline is having trouble you can. If you have not unlocked the Decoy Adept yet you can use the Mini P.E.K.K.A and give him dissipate (3rd upgrade).
Upgrade order:
DA: 1 > 3 > 2
MP: 3 > 1 > 2
- Hog Rider (or Villager)
A really strong anti-backline unit, with high damage and survivability. Position him so he stuns the backline and preferably give him healing (3rd upgrade). You can also use the Villager if you have not unlocked the Hog Rider, and give her the 1st and 2nd upgrades, and use her as a frontline.
Upgrade order:
HR: 3 > 1 > 2
V: 2 > 1 > 3
- Wizard
A mini that is in a great spot right now, and can be very effective against both swarm and tanks. Give him the 1st and 2nd upgrade almost every match.
Upgrade order:
1 > 2 > 3
- Ice Wizard
An average mini on his own, but with the mage class active he is incredibly strong, as his basic attacks are replaced by his super, that deals 6 damage and slows. Combine this with the 1st and 2nd upgrade and you have a mini that deals great damage and applies a 60% slow to multiple units. Position him strategically especially against archer class and Royal Ghost decks, as the slow will allow you to hit him and not make him invincible.
Upgrade order:
1 > 2 > 3
- Electro Wizard
Although usually a carry mini, in this deck he is more a support unit, as you should pick the 3rd upgrade and occasionally the 1st one as well. This allows you to deal great damage at the start of the match, as he fully charges the Wizards super.
Upgrade order:
3 > 1 > 2
- Unit Placement Order:
On the first round you should try and get the NB's upgrade and the Ice Wizard, giving the NB massive damage. If you don't find the NB's upgrade, you can place Ice Wizard and Decoy Adept. Then you're going to try and field all the mages, and finally place the Hog Rider to target the backline. Most games usually go as such:
IWIZ > NB+3 > DA or EWIZ & WIZ > DA or WIZ+1 & WIZ+2 > HR or EWIZ+3 & IWIZ+2 > HR+3 & EWIZ+1
