Clash Mini Starting Hero

There are three specific Heroes to choose from when you start the game which also determines which Minis you will unlock first. To know which Hero to choose, you'll want to factor in how good the Hero and their starter Minis are in the meta and how you want to play the game.

Currently, our tier list ranks Archer Queen as the top Hero, Shield Maiden as the second, and Barbarian King as the third. As for a combination of their starting Minis, Archer Queen has the best Minis, Barbarian King has the second, and Shield Maiden has the third. But overall, Archer Queen would be the best Hero to choose from based on a combination of both.

However, it's also important to know how they can be played to best fit your style. Barbarian King, Archer Queen, and Shield Maiden all have different abilities that can be used for different styles of strategy.

Barbarian King

Barbarian King is a great Hero to start off with because he can be paired up with just about any of the Minis. His abilities don't cater to a very specific playstyle besides simply charging into battle. So you can learn how you like to play the game if you're unsure at first.

Archer Queen

Archer Queen is one of the best Heroes for having a strong ranged team. The main strategy when using her is to keep her alive so she can pick off enemies from afar. She has a high damage per second and can even make surrounding allies invisible for a short time.

Shield Maiden

Shield Maiden is an awesome tank with a shield that reflects damage back to her attackers. She does not do the most damage compared to some other Heroes. But, it allows you to start off with a strong defense so you can utilize your Minis for most of the attacking since she'll help keep them alive.

Regardless of what they rank, these three options are all a fun way to start the game. So choose what you think you'd like best and have fun. Either way, you'll eventually unlock all of them and can switch around freely!
